In the heart of Mashhad, on the bridge of the Islamic Republic Square, ten exquisite enameled relief panels shine like radiant gems, embodying the spirit of art and faith. These magnificent works, commissioned by the Mashhad House of Artists, draw inspiration from handwritten manuscripts of the Holy Quran—penned in Kufic script on deer parchment—and are brought to life across ten panels, each measuring 240 × 160 cm. Master calligrapher Masoud Saffar has breathed new life into the words with his magical touch. This artistic project was completed in the summer of 2012, after six months of passion, patience, and creativity.
